In 2004, two guys named Jason lived together in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. Both working as fashion models, they valued fitness and healthy eating, but grew tired of store-bought snacks. So Jason Osborn took matters into his own hands and started making an original recipe of granola from fresh, organic and local ingredients in their tiny kitchen. It was delicious and everyone noticed. More and more friends began walking up the six flights of stairs to swipe bags of the tasty snack. The Jasons realized they had a business on their hands. Jason Osborn, a former designer, crafted the decisively simple FEED branding, they hired a commercial kitchen, and hit the road to test their product at trade shows nationwide. It didn't take long for Whole Foods to take notice of the healthy, simple snack with a charming story. Now, with six granola flavors on national grocery shelves and plans to expand beyond the granola category, the Jasons are doing their part to FEED the world. Delicious.
