Last night, we held our first shatterbox salon! Everyone beat the heat by listening to our great guest speakers, watching their featured videos and networking with other young professionals.
It was great hearing what Viktoria Harrison, Mickey Duzyj, Emily Dubner and Tammy Tibbetts have been up to since we featured them on the site.
Viktoria just returned from Africa and stays busy always putting a sleek and timeless face to the charity: water brand as the non-profit continues to expand.
Mickey's pursuing his dream of working on long-term projects in the art realm. He offered great insight to guests, explaining the process of using social media, as well as cold calls to get your name out there.
When we first interviewed Emily, Baking for Good just launched. Now the site has grown tremendously. She's shipped baked goods to every state in the U.S. and was recently featured on the Today Show.
Tammy, our first 'Make Your Mark' scholarship winner , held her first benefit concert, Girls Who Rock NY, for her non-profit 'She's the First' and it was a huge success. She'll also be traveling to Peru to grow 'She's the First.'
We'd like to thank all of our featured speakers, as well as The Tank for providing the theatre space. After a successful evening of inspiration, we're looking forward to putting together the next salon!
