Hello everyone,
We're thrilled to introduce the world to our first 'Make Your Mark' competition winner, Tammy Tibbetts. She's the creator of a fantastic new start-up called shesthefirst.org. The 24-year-old Jersey-girl started with a passion for print magazines and soon found herself as a web editor for Hearst Digital Media. She discovered her love for cause marketing and the web and launced She's The First to promote the education of young girls around the world. She works full-time and runs She's the First after hours and now we hope she'll use the $1000 prize to make her mark by making crucial improvements to shesthefirst.org.
Tammy's commitment to social good and entrepreneurship, even with a full-time job, makes her a fantastic choice for the inaugural winner of the 'Make Your Mark' competition.
